Devils Lake, ND | I had read about Firefox's "bloat" problem, and just finished downloading Google Chrome to try it out. Right now, I have both browsers open to NAT (and no other tabs open). Task Manager says Firefox is using 52,000 K and Chrome 24,000 K. Is this the bloat thing they talk about? I tend to have 3 to 5 tabs open at once, and I have seen Firefox up to I think 700,000 K. Physical memory at 65% used, and my computer running slow. What little I have played with Chrome I like it so far. As far as usability, how do the two compare.
Edit:
What do you like for extensions? I found Plain Clothes and Auto HD fror Youtube.
having run it for a while now, it does seem a little faster. Functionality compared to Firefox is a wash. But it seems like picture and text quality isn't quite as good as Firefox. Any ideas on this?
