Soybean breeding is a totally different ball game than corn. Since beans are a self pollinated crop, (basically they are like the inbred lines of corn used to cross to make hybrid corn seed) once the RR gene is in there there's no taking it out. When they cross 2 bean lines, they already have the RR trait in it so it will be there in all prodginy from the cross. Virtually ALL beans are bred in this manner. There isn't any widespread conventional bean breeding going on. If someone has a conventional bean in their line up it is likely a very old line. There might still be a few small niche conventional breeding programs going on but very unlikely. It just costs way to much to breed beans for a very limited conventional market.
