Do not buy Municipal bonds. Do a google search and look at all the cities in trouble over those. I would invest in heavily in the prescious metals market. Contact Bob Chapman I think his website is www.theinternationalforecaster.com He might recommend gold/silver shares. I personally looked into this stuff as well (regarding investing) and the only safe place for me was in the precious metals. My investment so far has netted me 3 fold, and it will continue going up also. Especially look at obtaining some silver. Silver is in short supply and I have seen articles where silver is going to sky rocket in price due to the manufacturers needing it and the pharmacutical industry needing it also. Some say it could shoot to 10,000 an ounce (yes silver) when the manipulation is stopped in the markets. The selling of paper is driving the price down. Supposedly silver is over sold 100/1. That means these banks have sold 100 ounces on paper for every ounce they have in storage to drive the price down. When these demand delivery of their silver then all hell will break loose because these banks simply do not have it.
