Panhandle of Ne.
We start beets Oct. 6th. The hailed on beets have come back and look pretty good. Pulled a beet from one of those fields and compared to a field that wasn't hailed on and there was a big dif. I'm not complaining because after the hail I had just about given up on the one beet field and it is still going to make a decent crop. On the other hand, the corn that was hailed on the worst is at least a 80% loss. Ins. adjuster wanted to zero it out but the guidelines she had to go by wouldn't let her. We will attempt to harvest it as a lot of it has fallen and they will take that amount off of what they will pay us on. SOS.

Did ya'll ever get any rain on the dryland to help out?
