There is a mile or 2 field just south of Storm Lake Ia that is farmed this way, it looked beautiful all summer. We did some back in the early 90's with 8 row strips. It would be alot easier now with round-up.
We also had a cyclo planter so we could tape over holes to get greater populations in the outside rows and lower as you went to the middles on corn.
