Not sure where you are but in Ohio we need to take off 4" a day, six would be better, of the face. 800 is not that much, ours was 30' wide by average 10 tall and 135 long, I always thought it held over 1000 ton, sorry I haven't done feed math in a long time. narrow is better, you won't take 4" off the entire width every day, you'll work across in sections, may take two or three days to get across. A power defacer would be a wise investment.
