Central Iowa | That would be Al Bruggeman of Harris, Iowa on a JD 7800 tractor pulling a B & H 9100 cultivator. I would guess that picture was taken in 1992. I'm thinking the 7800 was introduced in 1992? I'm pretty sure the 9100 was introduced in 1991.
I have visited with Al over the phone and at shows back in the days when ridge till was drawing a lot of interest (like strip till is now).
I have no idea if Al is still ridge tilling or planting in strips.
I have photos like that of my present day operation except, my tractor is red and my cultivator is yellow.
That is one of my favorite photos also. It speaks volumes about the ridge till system.
