Todd and guys:

I hate to be the contrarian here, but I don't think enough moisture will be saved to warrant the cost. After physiological maturity has been reached crop water use approaches zero as the photosynthesis winds down as there is really nothing to do with any assimilate that the plant would be producing because the grain has been effectively detached. Also potential ET at the same time is winding down.

This is just off the cuff opinion from me. I'll see if I can track down some numbers on this and repost. Interesting question for thought however.
