Near-north Ontario, French River | I can honestly say , I have no idea LOL. Like you I intend to buy some prepay product this fall,whether that decision is right or wrong time will tell. Two years ago we spend 20k putting up UAN storage( proper diking, tanks etc.. we did it RIGHT) and took fall delivery of 90ton of UAN because the sky was falling and UAN was going to be much more expensive come spring time. We paid $585/ton ( buy and take )at a time when 'buy now take later" was at $675, a savings of $90/ton. Figured with the cost of the new storage we still had less then a 3 year pay back on the storage. Then spring came along and prices had collapsed to somewhere in the neighbourhood of $350 if i remember right. So its a crap shoot, you pays your money and takes your chances. FWIW I don't regret spending the money on the storage . |
