NE CO | They put on a great airshow again. The F-16 demo team from Hill Air Force base in Utah was back this year and put another superb demonstration of the F-16 capabilities. Also numerous acrobatic displays and a female wingwalker also put on good shows. About 20 radial engine airplanes were on the flightline as well as a B-25 that participated in the WWII re-enactment that has become a regular at the show. It's mostly an all-volunteer effort that puts on an impressive show each year the first weekend in September. I would urge everyone with an interest in aviation to mark their calendars for next year and plan to attend the National Radial Engine Airshow (NREA). | |
