| The yield differences do not concern me as much as the marketing of GMO crops. We had CBRWLL harvested in 2009 that we planned to sell to an elevator that accepts it. We got about 17000 bushels hauled and then that elevator closed up. We only have one other place that will accept the corn and for several reasons it is less than ideal. The processor that we haul most of our corn to does not want many GMO's. We still have about 4500 bu left.
I know I will be told that many just take their corn to a processor anyway, sort of a don't ask don't tell deal. But that is not the kind of ethics I want to live by.
