| Hello folks,
wondering if anyone has any experience collecting weed seed when combining corn or soybeans.
we normally have all the grain custom harvested at the WIU Organic research farm so major combine modifications are not really an option.
As a research farm that evaluates many different practices, it would be great if we could reduce the seed rain in plots where weed control was much less effective rather than create greater background variation in weed pressure each year.
most of our plots are at least a half acre in size.
Any thoughts?
