Subject: More tileing questions ~

central - east central Minnesota -
When planning for the mainline, I understand I could get by with 6 in as a main, to drain aprox 10 -15 acres of pattern tile 4 in . . . . Since the areas that will be pattern tiled (3 low spots that combined equil 6-7 acrs), how quickly will it drain those low areas/slopes within 24 hrs using 6 inch? Assuming 2% slope and pattern tiled 40ft centers? Or, would I need a 8 inch main to take the heavy rains away within 24 hrs? I'm a bit confused on that aspect . . .   Thinking bigger is better or faster, in this case, for a main - or am I wasteing money for bigger? (assume, after this project, no other pattern tileing would be needed and no other hook ups to the main would be neccessary. No other water could be dumped into these spots either, from neighbors or up stream . .  just mother nature.  TIA
