Your timing looks excellent and I think you will get enough moisture out of this event to get a good stand. The power of a raindrop looks like an atom bomb going off at seed level so you should get enough coverage, washing, cleaning and mulching from the leaves. If we get some rain it should bring down a lot of mulch.
