West Central Alberta Coldest, wettest edge | Question about adding to an existing system. When laying tile, do you run a wire like they do with a gas line for line locating later on? Or just use GPS to locate where it is and dig it up? Or on older systems just dig till you find it?
Another question, if you have an isolated slough at a higher elevation that would be a big job to drain above surface, can you dig one or more tile lines in under the surrounding higher ground, but sloping down, and just dead end them? then the water can seep out into hopefully drier soil? |
