Subject: Soybeans following soybeans and alfalfa

I'm thinking about my plan for next year. I've got a couple of fields that are screwed up on any kind of rotation. To straighten things out and get a new decent start, I'd like to run all soybeans on these fields next year. That will mean I will be following soybeans in one field and alfalfa in another. I'm alwayse deficient on phosphorous, and can hopefully get some spread this fall, more in the spring. Other than phos deficiency, what other drawbacks can I expect from beans following beans and alfalfa?

The ground is Heavy (low production), this years beans are pretty good (about 30bu/ac). The alfalfa is about 5 years old, clean and good shape except for large chunks drowned out (gone to straight grass). This is flood irrigated (lots of water available). This will be no-tilled, probably on 15" rows (could use planter @ 30" rows).

Thanks for any information and opinions.
