SW Indiana | I have some Avicta treated corn and some non-Avicta treated side by side in some heavy root-knot nematode sand. I am going to try to shell it and another nematode plot Monday, but I will say there is a definite visual difference in the plants just driving along the end of the field after shelling the ends. That may or may not translate into a yield bump. We will see. I question whether Avicta can really help me that much later in the season when RKN seems to really show up. Also have some Votivo treated corn in the same field in the other plot, so hopefully I can get some good information. Also, any chance either of these treatments will be available on soybeans in the future? | |
