Central Illinois | Had a good chuckle reading your post. I am sitting in my office/ fertilizer plant on ground that I have added a very nice shop and 300,000 bushels storage with a couple legs and dryer. Much of it is courtesy of a Sohio (Sohigro) plant built in 1966. I don't think it ever moved over a couple thousand ton of product a year, until it closed in 1983. We bought the property the following year. A hell of an investment for us, and a lot of good memories working with those people, even if some of the people back in Lima, Ohio were idiots. | |
