NEKS | That looks like trouble to me. I use 10-34 on keetons and it still manages to get a lil on the closing wheels. No way could someone talk me into putting liquid starter on top of the ground right in front of the closing wheel. I would have my closing wheel bearings all locked up and the wheels full of solidified mud. I know of several people putting the starter on top of the ground directly behind the closing wheels and K-State research is claiming 5-15 bushel advantages to putting it on top and behind the closers for corn. | |
