Central Missouri | I'd say that most corn south of the dividing line has enough moisture for pollination, it is that 3 week period after when the ear will nose back if moisture is short that I would keep an eye on.
Now north of the dividing line I would be concerned about the lack of oxygen and corresponding loss of N is a big concern. Will producers add N to the yellow areas and will the rain continue? If it gets dry those yellow areas will be shallow rooted and short of N. jmo | |
