Subject: Re: Computers in cabs

Kingston, Iowa
The computer is a 1.6 ghz with 1gb ram. I had a 20g SSD drive installed instead of a conventional hard drive. Other features include wifi, bluetooth, and Full size PC card slot. I have a US Cellular USB modem for my internet source. My monitor is a 7 inch touch screen which is too small to use very easily, so I also carry a keyboard with me. I am trying to setup a rugged tablet PC with a larger screen as well. It will be easier to move between tractors. The tractor is a JD 8120 pulling a 16 row 1770NT Planter. I also used the computer in the cambine last year. We raise corn & soybeans and run a custom farming operation.
