| The orginal CR7 could only do AccuBoom and SmarTrax/SmarTrax MD via CAN. The CR7+ does not support CAN.
Raven borked the firmware for the original CR7. First, AccuBoom started having lag, so there were always gaps that never showed coverage. A customer found that you can change some of the SCS settings and it helps reduce the gap size but does not fix it. I also think they messed up SmarTrax MD working with the CR7 at some point. I've had three customers who after updating could not use SmarTrax MD anymore. I've spent 20 hours troubleshooting the issue to no avail and Raven is zero help. If you can find one that hasn't been updated to the v 21.xx and stick with the 2.xx, you will probably be OK. | |
