Subject: RE: Home geothermal heat/ air conditioning

Westside, IA
Installed geo when I built my shop in 2007, ran loops for the house at the same time. Plan on having another heat source unless your electricity is cheaper than here. In the shop the pumps would run 24-7 and never catch up until I put a radiant tube in. Happy with the how the 2 work together now, in the house there is several times every winter where it will run all week and struggle to hit 65 degrees. Seems like in the cold spells I am outside in the elements more than inside a cab or building so never really warm up not having a warm house. In the process of building a new house and will not be putting geo in.
