Wisconsin | Amish may have fewer allergies, or not. They certainly don't have fewer mental retardation cases, nor were there way fewer in the past, we just didn't see them because they were in special ed classes in school, and institutionalized after school. Now they're in mainstream classes if at all possible. I don't know if vaccines contribute to autism, or celiac, or whatever else. Or if poorer quality food does, if we even have poorer quality food, because there was certainly fishy stuff going into food all along. More grass fed, fewer empty calories is about all I can reasonably say was better in the past, empty calories for us directly, and for the animals we eat. That is, honeycrisp apples instead of heirloom varieties. 250b/acre corn instead of 40. Watered down tomatoes, etc. | |
