And depending on how severe it is, they may or may not live a decent life. But like much of modern healthcare, there is now testing and treatments that can help more people live better lives. I've heard that line of excuse's a lot but I was alive almost 80 years ago and when I went to town school we didn't have any kids that acted the way that autistic kids act, we didn't have any kids living in pain from eating bread. Kids with problems like those of today would have stood out like a palm tree in a snow storm. |
