SW WI | I had a similar situation with State Farm. They wanted to know exactly how many acres was on each farm. Then wanted to know how many acres of corn, beans, hay and wheat was on each farm. It was like certifying acres with FSA but worse. I lost my cool with them when it came to insuring cattle.....I couldn't get it through their head that a 1,700 pound fat holstein steer was worth more than a 300 pound holstein calf. I switched insurance companies but they still wanted tillable acres on each farm but could care less about what crops I grew on each farm. | |
