Kiukainen, Finland | I'm nowhere near Ohio, but just curious. The datum change will change the coordinates that NTRIP caster is telling the rovers its antenna position (or virtual base antenna position in VRS).
Are they not brodcasting the old ones on some other caster mountpoints? For sure they could easily do so if it is a thing that matters to lot of their users.
A RTK correction is basically just telling: #1 this is how I hear the satellites and #2 this is my position.
Ok other stuff also like often times satellite ephemeris (RTCM 1019 1020 etc) data (which rovers get that from the satellite also. And antenna and receiver info, that are in of minor importance for our cm or " accuracy of tractor driving. | |
