West Central Illinois | You can use a debit card / convenience of not carrying cash but no fees most places.
I buy diesel thru my Mudflap app. It usually saves considerable amount compared to pump prices. But they charge an extra 2% if you tie it to a credit card - no surcharge if it is tied to a debit card.
All that said, I don’t have a debit card yet as I haven’t evaluated the extra risk of having something tied directly to your bank account.
I’d appreciate other thoughts on that risk. | |
