Couple things to keep in mind. The credit card reward is non taxable. Yet when you pay the 3% that is a tax deduction possibly.. Also the 3% amount they charge you does not get a 3% overcharge. Yet you get the cc reward on it. And if you have your money in interest acct you collecting interest for the duration of time from cc charge to date that cc charge needs paid. So the full 3% surcharge isn’t as large upfront as one thinks. The benefit the business isn’t looking at is the credit card charge is good on the spot. A check may bounce. And with cash anymore who knows what’s counterfeit or not.Also credit card rewards also have some reward cards at $25 gift card for $22.50. Another plus
