Maryville, MO
In my opinion, zidua is not as good as metolachlor or Acetochlor on grass. That’s not to say that it won’t control grass, but of the group 15’s I find it to be the weakest on grass, but the best for small seeded broad leaves. Metolachlor is not great on broad leaves, but is my preferred group 15 for grass control. I find Acetochlor to be a good middle ground. Also find outlook to be a good middle ground, but due to its short half life I don’t like it in wetter areas like you’re in, better out west.

Honestly, if you’re wanting to continue to use zidua pre emerge for its good broad leaf control but still want to improve your grass control, Prowl H20 would be a good pre emerge addition. It stinks to run, but it does control foxtail. Zidua + Prowl H20 + Authority or Valor = solid control of most weeds.

Could also do S-Metolachlor + Authority or Valor + metribuzin. Would also tackle most weeds and is a pretty cheap program. You could then come back with Zidua post emerge.

Just my $0.02
