NW Illinois | We have poor Zidua performance here also in places. But other group 15's had issues as well. The driver for our problems was a warmer than normal end of March into early April. Then we were delayed from planting/spraying some mid April. Basically be the time we put the Zidua on the ground the grass was either starting to or about to germinate. Zidua takes so much moisture to move into the germination zone(chem activation) that it was late to the party. I also have Harness Extra escapes in corn as well, but it worked better than the Zidua overall in no till soybeans. Even though it was sprayed later than the Zidua. I like Zidua but man waiting on rain and have waterhemp come through it is making it a tougher sell.
Many times Zidua reminds me of Liberty. Good chemistry if the stars align but can be very finicky to make work sometimes.
Edit to add: Zidua was used at 4 oz per acre here as well.
