Ft. Ripley MN | I would dig a little deeper to into the issue… the heaviest bales I’ve been around came from a 567. The 8 and 9 series Deeres aren’t bad balers but the 0 series have issues… they put out the 1 series and said they improved them and you can spend more money to buy.
Every color of baler has net wrap issues… you won’t get away from that. You just have to be comfortable with it. I like the CNH baler because it gives me a solid and heavier bale every time and it’s cheaper than Deere. I tried a yellow baler and it’s an absolute failure. It does no good to be able to travel Mach Jesus when the bale is horrible… and you have the same problems baling as every other color. They talk about being heavier but the chains and bearings are the same across the every color…. They all wear there pickup out between 10-15,000 bales… they all can last 30,000 plus bales… so my opinion by on value and who gives you the best most dense package. I’m willing to bet if guys bought on who bales the most pounds… they would own different colors.. they only care about bale count | |
