Malta, Illinois | The President has been open about his anxiety in regards to falling. That is why he proceeds with caution and takes very deliberate steps while doing things like going up stairs. People his age who are not aware of their surroundings and are not deliberate in their movements can find themselves in a pile on the ground. Folks that age can have minor or moderate balance issues which can lead to falls. To me he is approaching this in a smart manner taking precautions to make sure he doesn’t fall. That doesn’t mean he won’t fall sometime but he is doing everything in his power to make sure that doesn’t happen. As you point out, there is irony in Trump and MAGA having mercilessly trolled Biden for his balance and falling issues. Karma can be a female dog sometimes. | |
