North Dakota | I will wholeheartedly admit I am more conservative than any politician in my lifetime which includes Reagan. However; I will also readily admit that Republicans and Democrats alike have not provided the food on my table or solved my problems. They have also in many circumstances created more problems than they promised to solve. Case in point is Reagan’s Swampbuster Act in 1985.
So when there is a pity party I fall back on my trust in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and try not to blame others for problems I face. They are always there. Regardless who is in charge. They always will be. No one will solve them for me and they shouldn’t. Trump is far from a conservative. Like a modern day Bill Clinton IMHO. I don’t hold hope I will EVER see a president even remotely approaching a true conservative. But I will persevere irregardless. I am truly blessed for what I have scratched out of the earth.
Also, I didn’t mean for this to be some kind of sermon or aimed at you. I value your viewpoints and agree with you often. It just gets old when you start down the rabbit hole in a post expecting some kind of valuable or insightful info and 20 replies later it is just a blame game and political party pissing contest. In the end we are responsible for ourselves, our actions and farm operations. Not some crony in Washington.
