Always heard this....... Hillsboro Ohio was the only town east of the mississippi that had two yards in the same town, Bill Butlers Union Stockyards, and Producers Stockyard, both still running today. Used to be a gianormus amount of cows in that side of the state, just like Clinton County had hogs out the waazoo, today not so much.
