Subject: Scales for chute. how level?

SW MN Fulda
I'm looking to get a scale put on my working chute. problem is that my area slopes down hill some. i dont have a problem moving cattle through it but i've been told for the scale it needs to be level for it to work correctly. i havent measured my drop from back to front yet but i would guess maybe 4 inches lower in the front. its all on good flat cement, just at a downhill slope. will i have a problem putting a scale on it without it being level? One guy i talked to so far said it needs to be level. i dont really want to grind it out on the back and i also dont want a 4 inch lift on the front that they have to come out the chute at. Thoughts?
