Northern IL | The adoption places we sell hay to aren't that great of conditions. And most of them just take retired racehorses at least in our area. There are a few therapeutic riding places that will take horses but they aren't going to want a 2 year old. I'd say your best bet if you don't want to sell it privately is to take it to a horse auction somewhere. I have friends that go to the Kalona horse sales a few times a year. | |
