| With my vee wheel rake I basically never around the corners, leave enough swaths on the headlands to make 2 windrows , rake back and forth then rake the headlands at the end. I widen the swaths out, fluff/ted the next morning if conditions demand it and bale on the 3rd day or if poor conditions the 4 day. Neighbor had a rotary rake, when the center mechanism went to heck I was going to fix it for him, by the time he had the parts he needed he changed his mind took the parts back in spite of the restock fee and bought a rake like mine. | |
