did you use galvalum or regular galvanized metal? Galvalum specifically says not to use in corrosive environments... but its cheaper. also the galvanizing can be G80, G90, G100, G110. or G120... any higher an it can't be painted. That can make a difference on longevity.

Our hog barns roofs last anywhere between 10 and 15 years depending on building type and location. anything downwind of a fan goes fast and will need some attention in 5-7 years.
