This is time of year and grass type dependent but yes, havimg high mag out is always a good idea IMHO. In TN tetany is mostly prevalent when fescue and rye is growing and cattle tend to 'over-eat'. But TN soil is somewhat mag deficient in general, so I always have hi-mag blocks out. Not a lot of wheat fields in my area, but that would also be a concern.
