Put a 1/4 inch foam strip between the tin and anywhere it touches the metal. The metal will start the rusting process. Than spray foam, expensive but my roof is 20 years old and in good shape while I know of another roof that has been replaced twice in the same amount of time.
If nothing else I would at least use a foam break and drip guard.
