And to be fair my perception to clouded by having to replace cattle in pens that are being emptied with cattle that in no way shape or form hedgable on the board. It all seems like pie in the sky to me. I'm just not convinced this ends well. Yup. Was having a couple cold refreshments last Sunday with a neighbor that feeds more cattle than anybody I know. Told me hedging guaranteed $200 head loss currently. |
