I had some 3 yr old wrapped bales the birds and critters tore the wrap on and it had white mold. I unwrapped , removed netwrap and put a couple bales in a rocky ravine in a pasture. 2 weeks later I'm rotating the cows and calves through this pasture and darned if the group isn't eating these bales in the middle of a lush green pasture!
