Farmington, Mo | I’ve been perusing marketplace and I’m considering owning a cattle pot in the $20-$50K range.
I know the floors can get thin and the stop gap is to be cleated…most I’m seeing in that range are cleated. We have owned a featherlite gooseneck trailer for 20ish years and so far it’s still very solid. Couple holes in the floor that need attention from manure being left in too long but fixable…I’m assuming this will be an issue with the big trailers too?
This rig will sit most of the time…only plan to haul our own fats to packer about 2 hours away. May grab a couple loads of feeders when time allows, but definitely not running full tilt trying to make a living.
Talk me out of it…
