If your going from drylot to grass, there is always the danger of grass tetany if the pasture are lush. I'd have them on a high magnesium mineral of block if they aren't already. Not a problem this year in many places. Know of an actual instance where cows were turned out, the owner was checking fence, water, etc. not closing the gate. Cows beat him home.
