Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa | We have had the Daniel's double lead up alley for maybe five or six years now, don't know about their portable but the one we have works great... can't imagine it would be any different. And yes the no back-ups are good. We put ours at a right angle to our "built in house" bud box, the Daniels leads to our xl silencer. If I get there today or tomorrow I will snap a few pics and text you. I would buy it again. We kept our double shorter than yours, maybe three cows per side then one in the single then chute.
