Central IA | No inexpensive option if you include sheep or goats. Sheep are much easier to keep than goats though.
Woven wire or field fence is your only option if you want small animals.
With woven wire, build an end assembly at the water gap and put a panel in that. When pasture not in use, you can take that out if you have a large water issue. Another end assembly, but the only way you can do it right.
You may be able to use high tensile electric, especially if you take the goat option out. Just build good corners/end assemblies no matter what. | |
