New London, Wisconsin | I tell friends and family if it gets delayed, it's normally for your benefit. Weather problems? Delays are a good thing. Mechanical issues? Who wants a broken airplane? Give them time to fix it. Pilot times out? That's what often happens when a flight has a delay and the scheduled pilot is toward the end of his hours, a bit like long haul CDL requirements.
Complain if you like, but I know why and just read a book while I wait.
Delays can happen even to my own airplane, that's just part of the way it is.
