Southeast WI | Flying/travel is always a crap shoot. During covid we flew to Whitefish cause daughter Katherine didn't have the time to take the train out (we did that in march on second ski trip). Had a comedy of errors getting out of Madison, missed our connecting flight in Chicago for the direct to Glacier out of there. Mind you we flew out of Mdsn at 6 am. Ended up going to Denver for a 7 hour layover and got to the condo 12 hours late... It happens. Few years later Amtrak left us stranded in Whitefish. Rented 2 cars and drove home 24 hours. That wasn't fun after a week of skiing. So where you trying to get? Can't really get aggravated since you are just a speck in the sky to them. | |
