Remind me your definition or northern Kentucky. And I think we’ve talked before about distiller’s slop/syrup. I’d think you could make an awesome ration out of silage, decent grass hay and an appropriate amount of syrup.
So to answer your question you have plenty enough animals to justify the tmr. Especially if you can figure out a way to get silage.
